Battle Ax – L Series
For low-flow skid steers up to 10,300 pounds with 15-35.9 GPM and 30-70 hydraulic horsepower
If you have a low-flow skid steer or compact track loader with 15-35.9 GPM weighing up to 10,300 pounds, the L Series mulching head is for you. For high-flow skid steers with 28-62.9 GPM and 50-150 hydraulic horsepower

Designed for skid steers and compact track loaders with 28-62.9 GPM, the S Series Battle Ax optimizes mulching performance with its unique rotor design and Loftness exclusive two-stage cutting chamber. We’ve taken the most popular features of our Battle Ax series and made modifications for prime movers up to 375 horsepower. The result is the Battle Ax Extreme forestry mulcher. We gave it depth gauges, a two-stage cutting chamber, twin variable-speed piston motors, heavy-duty steel construction and all-new extreme triple carbide teeth for reliable performance in even the toughest operating conditions.

TIMBER AX
For skid steers with 22-40 GPM and 40-85 hydraulic horsepower
Because of its unique reverse rotor rotation, the Timber Ax mulching head delivers results with more efficiency. Keeping the cutting action of the hardened steel alloy blades off the ground enables the Timber Ax to take on dense brush and trees in one pass with less horsepower…even trees as large as 10 inches in diameter. This design also reduces the amount of blade contact with the ground to increase blade life.
